Compatible with other external flashes besides the FL-50R
After removing the flash holder, the FL-36R can be used for wireless or wired flash photography. The FL-50, FL-36, and FL-20 can be attached for wired shooting by removing the flash holder and using the optional FL-CB05 flash cable. In either combination, you can set the flash to either side of the camera, use the vertical release button on the battery holder, and change the angle of the adjustable monitor freely.
Compact size for good portability
You can attach the flash holding arm to the base section for an easy-to-pack compact size. Major parts can be taken apart for convenience, so you can pick out only the necessary components to carry along.
Equipped with a tripod socket
The base section features a screw socket for attaching a tripod.
