(1) Electronic compass
Recording the shooting direction of the shot using the electronic compass. You can use it as a regular compass even with the camera turned off.
(2) Location / Landmarks
The camera can display over 700,000 landmarks (the largest number in same-class cameras). And, as befits a Tough camera, many of these landmarks are geographical and natural features.
(3) Altitude / Depth of water indicator
The camera records not only your location but your altitude or depth of water as well. As expected of a Tough shooting style.
